To raise awareness on loneliness amongst elderly people we created this TV-commercial for the Army of Salvation (Leger des Heils). In this commercial we follow an elder person who wakes up on his birthday. Prepares himself for a beautiful day. The video continues and we come to discover that he doesn't receive any birthday cards via mail as well as friends that come to visit. The Army Of Salvation is building Buurthuiskamers (livingroom communities) where people that became lonely over the years can gather to share stories, find new friends or just drop by for a cup of coffee.
